happens when I reach the end of my coverage term?
Short
term health insurance plans will permit you to re-apply for another
short term plan but generally the new application is subject to
the same requirements as the original application and pre-existing
conditions which arose during the prior term are generally not waived
and may actually provide a basis for not qualifying for the new term of
coverage. Most plans only permit you to reapply once.
However, it may be permissible to reapply for a different short term
plan if you qualify.

What do I need to do to get the short term medical plan to start?
Apply for the short term plan that
fits your needs best. You may do so by calling us direct at our
toll free number, 1 (800) 849-0953, or applying online for the plan of
your choice. Let us know when you want coverage to start.
You will need to pay your first month's premium payment by supplying a
valid credit card to get you coverage started in the shortest amount of
time. In many cases, where the basic requirements are met,
coverage can begin as quickly as the next day.

When will I find out if I qualify for the short term insurance coverage?
When you complete your application
we will let you know whether or not, based upon your completed
application, you qualify for short term insurance coverage.

When I get a standard longer-term policy in the future what do I do with
my short term policy?
When you get written notice that
your selected health insurance plan for a standard health insurance
policy has been approved on terms and conditions that you would like to
accept then you will need to contact the insurance company company that
issued your short term policy and let them know, in writing, that you
want to cancel your short term policy.
